Wonder Woman proved herself a Wonder at the box office, making more than$100 million in the opening weekend.

Wonder Woman, a fictional superhero, princess of Themyscira, made the biggest opening of $103.1 million in its opening weekend by a woman director, Patty Jenkins, ever. This record was previously held by Sam Taylor Johnson’s Fifty Shades of Grey which made $85.1 million in February 2016. Along with this, Wonder Woman broke another record of the biggest opening of a superhero movie ever, leaving behind films like Guardians of the Galaxy ($94 million), Captain America: The Winter Soldier ($94 million), Doctor Strange ($85 million) & The Wolverine ($53 million). It also has an A Cinema Score & 93% certified “Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes as well as its Audience Score too is 93%.

Gal Gadot-Varsano is an Israeli actress and model.

This all makes sense because we all, along with celebrities like Lupita Nyong’o, Viola Davis, Anne Hathaway & Jessica Chastain, are obsessed with Wonder Woman.

Here is the short description of the Wonder Woman’s story. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, Princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Diana later meets an American pilot who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Then she finally discovers her full powers & true destiny.
