Christmas is almost here, which means it’s time to celebrate with your family and friends, and spread joy and happiness everywhere you can. Recently, Indian skipper Virat Kohli turned into Santa Claus for a children’s shelter in Kolkata. In a video released by Star Sports, Kohli is seen watching a video of the kids talking about their favourite superheroes, some of which include Superman, Spiderman, and Black Panther. When talking about their favourite sportspersons, they mentioned Sachin Tendulkar, PV Sindhu, and Christiano Ronaldo. One little boy said that he loves Kohli and finds his beard interesting.

Dressed in a Santa Claus costume, complete with a beard and protruding belly, Kohli meets the children and distributes gifts to them. When someone asks the kids if they would like to meet the captain of the Indian cricket team since Superman and Spiderman were on leave, they all agree enthusiastically. Kohli then takes off his cap and beard to reveal himself. The kids are, obviously delighted and they rush to hug him. The heartwarming video and Kohli’s kind gestures have received widespread appreciation on social media.
