The Indian film industry’s orginal ‘He Man’ Dharmendra Doel has become active on the social media these days.
Getting nostalgic The actor has been using Twitter handle @aapkadaram to share old pictures with his film collegues.
On the 14th death anniversary of Bollywood’s best known comedian Mehmood Ali, Dharmendra became nostalgic and recalled his fondest memories with the Waaris actor and shared a few pictures of himself with Mehmood. Along with the photos, he wrote, “With you were the days, Mehmood, miss you a lot.”
From Purnima in 1965 to Juaari in 1994, Dharmendra and Mehmood worked together in various films.
The other pictures shared include Dharmendra with Pran, Manoj Kumar, Rajendra Kumar but Tanuja, mother of Kojal, has a special in his heart. Dharmndra and Tanuja have acted together in Chand Aur Suraj, Baharen Bhir Bhi Aayegi, Izzat, Do Chor etc. as a lead pair in later half of 60s.
He shared poster of Do Chor with the title of its famous song “YAARI HO GAI YAAR SE LUKK TUNU TUNU…………”
While sharing an old picture with Tanuja, Dharmendra wrote: “TANNU , my shweeeeeeeeet baby , l love you and miss you, How can we get to those precious and most beautiful moments back again?”
Just below this picture, Dharmendra wrote a special mesage for Tanuja’s younger daughter Tanisha saying; “Tanisha Dear, a lovely moment from my lost past , Tanu is very very dear to me , this photo made me emotional, Jeeti raho, khush raho!!! Thanks @Bombay Basanti”
